DIN is a geometrical and functional sans serif typeface. It became a standard for traffic signs, street signs, house numbers and license plates.
The theme comes from the classification of the type. DIN looks geometrical and suitable to design traffic signs. Therefore, the concept is chosen related to  traffic systems but it focus on traffic in Ho Chi Minh city. To create layouts, arrows and street lines are used as additional factors beside the text to make the booklet more unity and consistent with the concept. In the first spread of the booklet, the images of Bitexco tower and some traffic signs in Ho Chi Minh city are cut by laser to simulate the cityscape on the sunset. In the index layout, the background is the Ho Chi Minh city map and the title of items is linked to each other like moving on the map through the dotted line. In addition, the timeline information and the paragraph layout, the images of Germany map or the symbol of Ho Chi Minh city (Bitexco tower) are covered by letters to create the flexibility in using the type.
